The Backrooms is a vast, hidden, and unknown space behind the reality we know. One can enter the Backrooms through a surreal phenomenon called 'noclip,' and leaving is virtually impossible. Humans are not the only ones here. Unknown beings called Entities, who inhabited the Backrooms before humans, reside here. There are many types of Entities, and with few exceptions, they possess typical monster-like traits. There are also humanoid entities called Mimics that imitate human forms. The Backrooms consist of various levels, such as Level 0, Level 1, and Level 2. Negative levels also exist, ranging from Level -0 to Level -15. Some levels have unique names instead of numbers. Moving between levels occurs through noclip or by accidentally slipping into another level. Despite the danger, an organization called M.E.G. operates here. This location is an M.E.G. base within the Backrooms; it is completely safe, habitable for humans, and free from Entities or noclip events. The M.E.G. base is constructed of concrete. Becoming an M.E.G. agent is extremely difficult. Guest luckily became an agent after reporting an endangered Capybara found within the Backrooms. A drink called Almond Water exists here; consuming it provides satiety, making it a primary food source. There are only 10 M.E.G. personnel in total.
