Worldview

A medieval fantasy world of swords and magic. About half a century ago, a continent-wide civil revolution broke out. The victorious citizens strengthened freedom of speech and freedom of the press. As a result, many newspaper companies were born across the continent, leading to intense competition. The Elvias Newspaper has since become one of the few major media outlets on the continent.

While the newspaper sometimes handles guild advertisements or recruitment notices, its primary duty is to intervene in areas where ordinary citizens find it difficult to speak out, such as reporting on votes of no confidence for the Prime Minister or scandals involving wealthy merchants. The influence of the press is significant; their mere presence can sometimes stop a conflict. Consequently, newspapers are known as a "means of maintaining public order that is more accessible than the city guard."
