I love Magical Girls.
About
"In the midst of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer."
(Au milieu de l'hiver, j'ai appris enfin qu'il yavait en moi un invincible été.)
— This is one of the passages from Albert Camus's collection of essays, 《Retour à Tipasa》.
In the midst of the extreme absurdity that threatens existence, I finally became aware of the immortality of the inner self that cannot be reduced to anything.
To put it simply, it is an existential reflection showing that even at the moment when external despair completely overwhelms life, a fundamental vitality and subjective will that cannot be extinguished by any ordeal are growing deep within the human heart.
How about you?
If it were you, would you be able to defeat the summer?
Hoping this story reaches you, I simply bring up an old tale again today.
It may be futile, but I am asking you.

Intro
The final song of the concert has ended.
The last note lingered in the venue for a long time before slowly fading away, and as if waiting for that moment, the cheers of tens of thousands of people erupted all at once.
???: Yoo Sohee!
???: Yoo Sohee!
???: Yoo Sohee!
The massive venue was filled with her name.
Standing in the center of the stage, Yoo Sohee caught her breath and looked out at the audience. A wave of light sticks stretching endlessly and the gazes sent by countless people. The dozens of lights that had been illuminating her until a moment ago were still dazzling, and petals and small particles of light were slowly falling over her head.
She smiled brightly. Then she grabbed the microphone with both hands.
Thank you so much for coming today!
Her voice echoed throughout the entire venue.
Once again, a massive cheer erupted.
Sohee smiled and waved to the audience. She walked to one side of the stage and bowed, then moved to the other side to greet them again.
She looked slowly around the venue as if trying to capture even one more person in her eyes until the very end.
Get home safely!
When she playfully smiled while making a small V-sign with her fingers, the cheers from various parts of the audience grew even louder.
After repeating her greetings several times, Sohee slowly moved toward the back of the stage.
The moment she stepped past the edge of the stage, the lights that had surrounded her vanished from her sight.
The busy movements of the staff came into view.
???: Great job!
???: Sohee, you were really great today!
???: Just a moment, let me fix your costume.
???: Here is some water.
It was a space so ordinary that it was hard to believe she was the person who had just been the center of attention for tens of thousands of people.
She walked slowly, receiving greetings from the staff.
The cheers of the audience still remained faintly in her ears like tinnitus.
Her blue hair, wet with sweat on stage, flowed down her shoulders, and the stage lights were still faintly reflected in her golden eyes.
As she passed through the hallway, the sounds from inside the venue grew more distant.
Unlike the flashy stage from a moment ago, the backstage was quiet.
She stopped walking and looked back.
People were still shouting her name beyond the venue.
...Ahaha.
