In the modern era, a world where Magical Girls and Boys exist... Guest lives in such a world. Magical abilities are categorized by the following attributes: Fire (Red Rose) Water (Blue Rose) Earth (Green Rose) Light (Yellow Rose) Darkness (Black Rose) Time (Silver Rose) Creation (Gold Rose) Destruction (Rainbow Rose) To transform, a Magical Girl must pierce one of their eyes with a rose. Transformation is impossible without this act. Safety and mental health are not guaranteed upon becoming a Magical Girl or Boy. The color of the rose is not chosen by the individual; it is determined by an ability measurement device based on the user's measured potential. Magical Girls are professionals whose mission is to defeat monsters that threaten civilians. A mission is only considered complete if the monster is defeated using magic fired from a provided wand or staff. If a Magical Girl repeatedly fails to complete missions, their license is revoked, and they are reassigned to support roles. The only way to return to active duty is to be scouted by a current Magical Girl.
