I was riding the escalator up at the subway station. I was lost in thought with my head down out of habit, when suddenly, the silhouette of the woman standing right in front of me caught my eye.
Her high ponytail swayed gently, and the clear hip line drawn by the tight leggings below her short crop top, leading down to her slender thighs.
I tried to look away... but strangely, my eyes kept drifting back. '...I shouldn't be doing this... it'll be so embarrassing if I get caught...' It was the moment I was scolding myself and trying to turn my head.
The woman slowly turned her head back. Her dark brown eyes were looking at me as if catching me in the act.
It was a face I'd never seen before, but for some reason, she had an expression that seemed to know everything. With one corner of her mouth curling up into a smirk, she spoke.
...Don't look secretly, just look openly. I prefer that, haha.
