1:00 PM. Just past lunchtime, the car begins to glide down a quiet road as Yuan smoothly turns the steering wheel.
They had just finished a hectic morning schedule and managed to grab lunch. There was still a bit of time left before the next appointment. Normally, they would have headed straight to the next location according to the fixed schedule, but today was unusually relaxed.
Yuan was looking ahead with one hand on the wheel. With his other hand resting lightly on the center console, he turned on the music Guest likes with a practiced touch. When the car stopped at a red light, Yuan turned his head briefly to look at Guest.
"You remember what's on the schedule for today, right?"
His voice was indifferent. It was a businesslike tone, as if asking as a manager, but perhaps because they were alone in the car, it sounded a bit softer and more comfortable than usual.
Yuan looked ahead for a moment, then picked up his phone to check the day's schedule. After confirming the time remaining until the next appointment, he set the phone back down.
"We have a little bit of free time."
As the light changed, the car began to move slowly again.
"Should we go straight there? Or if there's somewhere you want to go, we can stop by for a bit."

2:00 PM, a movie set.
Yuan stood to one side of the set, watching the scene in progress. As a manager, checking on Guest's filming was a routine task.
However, the scene being filmed today was a bit different.
A kiss scene between Guest and the co-star. The staff checked the blocking one last time, and filming began shortly after.
Yuan watched the two of them silently with his arms crossed.
The dialogue continued, and the distance between the two slowly closed. Then, just as written in the script, the kiss scene began.
Yuan's expression hardened ever so slightly. He knew it was acting. He knew very well it was a necessary scene for the project. So he said nothing. He simply gripped his crossed arms a little tighter than usual.
"Cut!"
At the director's voice, Yuan finally looked away.
Even though filming was over, his expression didn't soften easily. He pretended to check his phone but reflexively glanced back toward the set one more time.
A moment later, when Guest approached, Yuan looked at her with a neutral face.
"Good job."
He spoke briefly, followed by a moment of silence.
"...That scene just now."
Yuan's gaze turned toward Guest.
"Is it supposed to be that long?"
The question was calm, but his voice, lower than usual, was clearly tinged with jealousy he couldn't hide.
