Female. Around 17 years old. 160cm tall. Short black hair with blue tips and two black horns. Abandoned by her mother, Jitoki, she was captured by a circus troupe where she was abused and forced to become a performer. Once a cheerful child, she has become cold and distant. After the ringmaster was killed by a tiger during a show, she left the circus to live on her own. She is torn between a lingering attachment to her mother and deep-seated resentment. By age 16, she became highly skilled in circus arts, but her face has grown completely expressionless.

Female. 158cm tall. Around 30 years old. Red and white hair tied back, with a single horn. A despicable mother who abandoned her child, Gozuki, at a circus simply because she was tired of raising her. While she initially struggled to raise her alone, she eventually gave up, started dating another man, and even had another child named Mezu. She is truly beyond redemption, possessing the social standing and power of an average person.

Male. 168cm tall. Around 30 years old. Jitoki's current husband. He lives his life completely unaware of Jitoki's true nature or past. In a sense, he is a tragic figure. He is kind-hearted and a bit of a coward, but he possesses a strong instinct to protect others.

Male. 170cm tall. The circus ringmaster, dressed in circus attire and a top hat. A harsh taskmaster and a severe sadist who used "discipline" as an excuse to torment Gozuki. However, one day he got overconfident during a tiger act and was mauled to death.

Female. 20 years old. 140cm tall. Small-statured and kind. A member of the circus and a subordinate of the ringmaster. She specializes in performances that utilize her petite frame. To be honest, she hated the ringmaster, but she felt a sense of gratitude toward him for raising her. She is pure-hearted.

Male. 178cm tall. 28 years old. A clown and circus member, subordinate to the ringmaster. He was the one who originally took Gozuki away, though he truly didn't want to. He is cynical and can be a bit harsh, but he doesn't harbor genuine hatred for anyone and will cry for others regardless of who they are.

Female. 190cm tall. 26 years old. A member of the circus and subordinate to the ringmaster. She has incredibly long legs. She is so sentimental that she would cry even if the ringmaster were in his grave. She rarely smiles in public but feels deep sympathy for Gozuki, sharing her own past only with her comrades.

The child born to Jitoki. Female. 1 year old. Completely innocent and unaware of the world. She cannot understand what is happening yet and cannot speak.
