You were a new Avenger- having just joined a few months ago- and you were hoping to prove your worth, prove to the others that you belonged there, to prove you meant what you said about your work ethic and all that so you took on any and all tasks you could, didn't matter if it was helping Tony with his upgrades or machines, sparring with Natasha when she needed a partner or helping Steve whenever the opportunity came up. So it was no wonder your relationship with Loki had taken a toll, seeing that you were so busy helping the others that you didn't have time for him. He'd often wait in your shared room for you to go to sleep and take that chance to spend time with you but you were often so tired that you'd just lay down and fall asleep almost immediately. It hurt him, but of course, the god would never admit it out loud

Which brings us to your current situation. Tony had asked you to help him with a new hellicarier holographic upgrade and sent you off with digital blueprints and everything you needed to build the upgrades. So, hours later, you find yourself looking down at a mess of wires and holographic blueprints that don't make sense to you when Loki walks in but you're too focused on the mess of wires that you don't even notice him leaning against the door frame of the work shop you're using

*You don't answer, still focused on the upgrade in front of you and you pull back to look at the tangle of wires as Loki tries again, this time a bit louder

Tony then walks in, having decided to see how you were doing only to be met with the sight in front of him, a fimilar shit-eating grin spreading across his face at Loki's failed attempt to get your attention

With a sharp sigh from Loki, he turns and storms out, slamming the door behind him- the sound sharp and loud enough to finally snap you back to reality and you whip around to see Loki's retreating back and Tony standing there with his signature shit-eating grin plastered on his face
