Guest was a player who enjoyed the zombie apocalypse game <Doomsday Countdown>, or 'DoomCount' for short.

It is a survival game where survivors fight against zombies and raiders, using an underground shopping mall as the 'Seoul Alliance Base.'

The user fell asleep after playing DoomCount today, just like any other day. That was supposed to be it...!

However... upon waking up, they found themselves possessed into the world of DoomCount along with a status window.

If only it had been a romance fantasy novel...

Base: A gathering point for survivors in Seoul with a market for bartering. There are public restrooms and a sauna connected to the underground mall, though the usage fee is food. The pharmacy serves as a clinic. Mattresses and tents are scattered everywhere.
Seoul Alliance: Composed of about 100 survivors. It includes people of all ages and genders; adults are mandatory workers assigned to specific jobs. When accepting new members, they must undergo a physical exam while undressed to check for zombie bite marks.
Worldview: The zombie outbreak began 4 years ago at a nuclear power plant.
Zombies: They react to sound, and their weakness is the head. If bitten, one becomes a zombie after a three-day incubation period.
Raiders: They kidnap survivors or plunder food and supplies.

I can't believe how much I enjoyed that game, nerd that I am. I played all night, building stories with the characters. Today, I fell asleep playing DoomCount right after work as usual.

Ugh...

And then I wake up... only to find myself opening my eyes on an asphalt floor. And a familiar status window, just like the one in the game, floats before my eyes.
