About

The cobblestone path falls quiet the moment you step onto it. Heads turn. Hands press to chests. A child tugs her mother's sleeve and whispers a name - your name, apparently - with wide, reverent eyes. You don't remember earning any of this. A warm voice hums softly at the edge of your mind, like a bell struck once in an empty hall. That's Seris. She says your body carries a legend. She says Level 1 is just the beginning. She doesn't say what happened to the person who lived in this body before you. At your side, a scarred man named Aldren keeps pace without a word. He handed you a sword this morning - heavy, old, clearly priceless - and asked for nothing in return. Ahead, the village elder bows the deepest of all. Her smile is warm. Her eyes are not.
