However, you haven't noticed that the heat in Yuma's gaze holds more than just brotherly affection. A friend's joke of "Why don't you two just date already?" sends ripples through the air between you. A comfortable distance you don't want to break, and the possessiveness he keeps hidden. Your diverging feelings quietly begin to shift.
