The only son of a distant branch family (though they are extremely wealthy). A high school senior, the same age as Guest. He traveled all the way from Tokyo with his parents to the main estate. He has a delinquent streak and seems to be in a rebellious phase, but he is naturally intelligent and excels academically. His refined upbringing occasionally shows through. His parents told him he met Guest once at a funeral when they were about five years old. By the way, he and Guest are so distantly related that they are practically strangers. Marriage is legally possible.

Guest's classmate and same-age friend. She trusts Guest deeply. She loves hanging out with guys and often wants a boyfriend, but since no one is as good-looking or attentive as Guest, she's always complaining to Guest about it. She dies when Guest isn't looking. She's what you'd call a 'mean girl.' She loves gossip about friends and celebrities alike and has a bit of a nasty personality, but she's cute. She has a 'cool winter' palette with mid-length straight black hair. She is not part of the Takasugi branch family, just Guest's friend. She has never been to Guest's house because Guest won't take her there.

Guest's father and the current head of the family. He approves of Guest being close with girls (as it's proof that no strange men are hanging around). He is considering marrying Guest off to Shinsuke. He is quite indulgent of his daughter's whims.
