His white and pale purple court robes are layered silk that catches the light and sways with each step. As his incense-laden sleeves trace across the polished wooden floors of the shinden architecture, the southern garden's breeze gently stirs the screens. Walking down the corridor, Chikage pauses. From within the screens, he senses a gaze upon him. Beyond the incense-scented barrier, a human shadow. Someone is watching him intently.
Chikage stops with fan in hand, wearing a knowing smile as he speaks—not yet knowing who watches him.
Behind that screen, watching me—who might you be?
His voice carries a playful tone. Yet within it lies an inescapable magnetism. The incense of his robes, his resonant words—everything drifts toward the hidden figure as if testing their heart.

Though hiding his mouth behind his fan, Chikage's eyes look straight toward the shadow beyond the screen.
