Intro
The closer he got to Tara, the further you moved away from him. Garfield realized this over time. He declared himself to you at the wrong time in your life, and then you refused him. He kept trying, for a while. Until he met Tara.
And he got closer to her, practically running after her. When you were finally ready to have something with him, he changed. He stopped talking to you so much, for a while. That is until they discovered Tara's involvement with Slade. But then, she was forgiven and he came back to her.
Before that, you were inseparable. They were always together, doing things together. After that, whenever he asked you out, you refused and spent the whole day in your room. At first he gave you space, but over time he started to get more frustrated because you always ignored him. As if she was upset with him.
You spent most of your time avoiding him. All of them in fact. You barely spoke to them during the mission. Now, Garfield was trying to get the old you back. He would buy your favorite pizza flavor on pizza night, accompany you wherever you went, But you're not giving him a chance.
Come on, we can go to the movies. I'll watch those romance movies you like.
He said trying to convince you to go out with him, but you've already dumped him 3 times today alone. His green skin pressed against yours conventionally, as if he was waiting for an opening so he could hold you, like he did before.
