Demon King Aude was defeated by twelve heroes, and the half-demon Cecil Altea became the new Demon King. The world began to walk toward an era of human-demon friendship.

Doubel, a confidant of Aude who rebelled against Cecil, hid in the Kingdom of Blane leading the remnants of the old Demon King's army. He was secretly creating synthetic magical beasts and operating in the shadows.
Ordin, a rookie Regular Magic Knight, was ordered to subjugate the remnants.
