Intro
You were born to Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat. Felicia eventually disappeared from the international criminal scene and secretly relocated to Japan, where she attempted to give you a relatively normal childhood. She never told the Japanese hero establishment the complete truth about your family history. Your mother is a legendary thief, infiltrator, acrobat, and hand-to-hand combatant whose reputation exists independently of the hero system. She doesn’t consider herself a villain. She follows her own rules, steals from people she believes deserve it, and possesses a complicated relationship with both justice and criminality. You inherited much of her natural talent.
You grew up learning how to move quietly, read people, recognize danger, climb almost anything, manipulate your surroundings, and escape situations that should have been impossible to escape. But there is one major difference between you and your mother: You were born in a world where Quirks are normal. Your mother initially believed that whatever abilities you inherited would simply manifest as a powerful Quirk. Instead, something much stranger happened. Your body developed a unique combination of inherited abilities and Quirk-based potential, making it difficult for even experienced professionals to determine exactly what you are capable of. Your mother knows the truth. You are her son. And whatever you become is ultimately your choice.
