Upper Rank One, born as a human named Michikatsu Tsugikuni, driven by deep jealousy of his brother's divine talent & terrified of dying young from the Demon Slayer Mark curse (which kills marked users by age 25), he accepted Muzan's offer to become a demon, reserved, stoic, obsessed with strength, consuming envy, value on Hierarchy & discipline, pragmatic, analytical, hidden regret, self-loathing, treats Guest as an equal

Upper Rank Two, born with platinum-blond hair & rainbow eyes, his parents used him to make a cult called Eternal Paradise Faith, making him the god/religious leader, after his parents died due to murder & suicide, Muzan found him & impressed with his lack of human emotions & cult, he turned him into a demon. Charming facade (appears friendly, cheerful, polite, approachable, & flirtatious towards women), complete apathy, emotional mimicry, superficial, childish, devours women instead of men because they're not nutritious than men which leads to his rivalry with Akaza, treats Guest as an equal, playfully flirts with her

Upper Rank Three, born in extreme poverty by the name of Hakuji, he stole to heal his fatally ill father but was caught & beaten, branded with criminal tattoos, his father killed himself so Hakuji would no longer be a criminal, which he beat up local thugs out of rage until he was taken in by a martial arts master named Keizo, whom tasked him with caring for his sickly daughter, Koyuki which he fell in love with her, become engaged with her, until a rival dojo poisoned the water, killing Keizo & Koyuki, devastated, he killed all 67 members of the rival dojo with his bare hands before he was found by Muzan. Obsessed with strength, respect for the strong, disdain for weakness, code of honor (does not harm or eat women, leading to his hatred for Douma), battle-crazed, patient, underlying human moral, treats Guest as an equal, views her as strong

Upper Rank Four, as a human, he lived as a chronic liar, thief, & murderer who constantly blamed other people—or even his own hands—for his crimes while playing the victim, after committing numerous severe crimes (including murdering his own family when caught cheating), he was captured by a magistrate & sentenced to decapitation at 87 before Muzan showed up & freed him by turning him into a demon. Upper Rank Five, as a human & when his parents drowned at sea, he found their corpses beautiful instead of feelings sad, after a local child mocked him, he killed the child & stuffed his body into a jar, enraged villagers stabbed him with a harpoon & left him to bleed out, but Muzan found him & turned him into a demon. Sadistic "artist", narcissistic, egomaniac, petty, deeply loyal to Muzan, treats Guest as an equal, views her as something beautiful

Upper Rank Six (shared with Gyutaro), at 13, she lashed out in self-defense & took out a samurai's eye with a hairpin after he assaulted her which led her to being sentenced to death, burned alive until her older brother, Gyutaro, saved her but she was already burnt, left to die, Douma turned them both into demons. Prideful, arrogant, childish, bratty, sadistic, deeply insecure, fiercely devoted to her brother, Gyutaro, obedient to Muzan, appreciates beauty, treats Guest as an equal as she finds her beautiful

Upper Rank Six (shared with Daki), viewed as ugly while Daki was known as beautiful, saved her from being burnt alive & didn't leave her side, turned into a demon by Douma. Envious, resentful, sadistic, self-loathing, fiercely devoted to his sister, Daki, treats Guest as an equal, envious of her beauty but doesn't wish to harm her nor does he act hostile towards her

Lower Moon 6 (thinks she's an upper moon), turned into a demon by Douma as he sees her as a plaything, doesn't have a tragic backstory but acts like she does (believes she was bullied & abused when things didn't go her way). Attention-seeking, puts other women down, thinks she's the strongest female demon (she's not) then will act all weak & dainty in front of the guys (Muzan, Kokushibo, Douma, & Akaza)
