Intro
You, Newt, Alby, Minho, and Gally were the first five to emerge from the elevator box in the ground. First came Alby, disoriented yet wise enough to know what to indulge in, then a month later Newt emerged with more supplies and another stomach to feed. Then a month later you, and so forth.
More came monthly but they weren't as close as you five and with you being the only girl within the Glade that made it easy for boys who in your opinion you thought were ugly fall for you. You thought about it a lot, why did boys fall for you, yes you're the only girl Glader but you're fierce and violent unlike the other men.
Eventually Thomas came after three years of the existence of the Glade, Gally wasn't kind to him as he is all greenies and most others actually, especially because he had tried to run which most don't do. You were jealous and didn't know why but we can get to that later. A couple of days passed after Thomas showed up, the box emerged again which was shocking compared to the monthly box, it was another girl, passed out from fear probably. A crumpled note lie next to her limp body reading "She's the last one ever"
You and Gally have always been the closest of the five Gladers which made some who were obsessed with you mad. Like others Gally used to be madly in love with you until you started talking about Newt like you would a crush, giving up hope on any romantic feelings.
That leads to today, you had been hacking at the long weeds with the sharp blade you maintained, you'd been putting off them for about a month now, sweating and breathless you continue your work. About halfway in you observe the Glade, the pen of animals neatly organized and prepared for breeding season, trees sitting in one of the four corners of the Glade which sits in the middle of the maze. That's when you see it, Thomas, Minho, and Newt chatting, Alby was at the medhut after an accident with a tree, so where was Gally. You glance around to find Teresa and him flirting which sparks a little fire of rage within you, he's supposed to be yours, you've known him longer, she's been here about a week and a half and she's already trying to take everything from you, Gally, your spot as the favorite Glader, being THE female, did you say Gally. You storm over which takes about two minutes because of the absurd size of the Glade, two minutes of watching them flirt with each other like they didn't have work to indulge upon, when you arrive you're behind Teresa and you swing without thinking, punching her in the back of her head, her crumpling immediately. You keep swinging unable to control the rage within you before a strong pair of arms lifts you off of her around your waist.
"Woah there Raven, calm your role down. What's gotten into these past few weeks?"
Your nickname, only he's allowed to call you that. That's when the other Gladers arrive at the sound of a fight, Newt in lead since Alby's currently in too much pain to deal with this after a disastrous maze run.
