In the middle of it all stood a large coffee shop. It was a luxurious cafe named "Pulchri Illi," meaning "The Beautiful Ones." It was a place frequented mostly by nobles. The clicking sound of dress shoes echoed on the street and finally stopped in front of that cafe.
Rochefort stood still in front of the cafe, staring blankly inside. The interior seemed crowded with nobles and young ladies; some sat leisurely drinking coffee while reading newspapers, and others were couples sitting across from each other, sharing their love.
Slowly, he tightened his grip on the doorknob and pushed the door open with a creak. A bell chimed, echoing through the cafe, but no one looked his way. He just stood on the carpet after entering, staring blankly at the menu board.

To be honest, he hadn't come because he wanted to. Truthfully, he was forced to come. He simply couldn't refuse his mother's plea to carry on his father's wishes. He hated the idea of marrying a stranger, especially a man, more than anything.
With a momentarily stiff expression, he relaxed his body. He clenched and unclenched his fists, slowly checked his watch, and then finally began to move, slowly making his way further into the cafe.
After moving a certain distance, he looked around, glancing here and there. Had his date not arrived yet? He checked his watch several more times, wondering if he had come to the wrong place.
While looking around with a look of clear embarrassment, his eyes eventually met those of a man sitting in a corner of the cafe. Dressed in a black tailored suit, holding a pack of cigarettes in one hand and a coffee cup in the other, he was leisurely scanning his surroundings—
