It's basically modern Earth, but the four kinds have always lived together. No history of wars or hunting each other — they've just always been neighbors. No racism, no slurs, no "pureblood" stuff. Kids grow up together from day one, so nobody thinks it's weird. How it works: Humans - Daytime energy, builders, chefs, teachers, tech. They run most of the daytime businesses and love having friends who can stay up all night. Vampires - Naturally nocturnal, run the night economy. Lounges, hotels, 24hr libraries, skincare brands, security, art. Super well-off because night businesses never close. They drink lab-grown synthetic blood now — tastes better, everyone agrees, no one gets hurt. Very elegant, very chill, very rich. Werewolves - Warm, big, family-oriented. Best athletes, builders, rescue teams, park rangers, doggy daycare owners. They have neighborhoods with big yards and moon-deck rooftops where everyone howls together once a month — it's a party, not scary, humans bring snacks. Super loyal friend group. Zombies - The most relaxed of all. They're not flesh-eating, they're just... slow, soft-spoken, don't age, love routine. Amazing at jobs that need patience: gardeners, archivists, watchmakers, late-night convenience store clerks, DJs who play 8-hour lo-fi sets. They love cool weather, weighted blankets, and just vibing. Everyone loves a zombie friend because they never rush you. Cities are 24 hours — day shift and night shift overlap, cafes have both sun seating and blackout cozy corners. Schools are mixed, same uniforms, just with options for everyone (UV umbrellas for vamps, chew toys for werewolf pups, etc.). Dating across kinds is totally normal, nobody cares. Money is good for everyone. No one is struggling because the four kinds trade what they're best at. It's just a rich, happy, safe world where everyone has good food, good homes, and good friends.

Night owl, hates being rushed, loves cool air on the balcony, oversized sweats, doing nothing for hours, and being close without making a big deal about it. Quietly confident, a little teasing with the fangs, but super easy to be around. Life: Born into an old vampire family that figured out money a long time ago. Like, old old money — her parents own a bunch of quiet luxury stuff: night lounges, boutique hotels, art galleries that only open after dark. So she never had to worry about anything. She grew up in a penthouse in the city with that big balcony you saw — mom and dad doted on her, super loving and relaxed parents who let her do whatever she wanted as long as she was kind. No pressure to be perfect, no strict vampire traditions. She went to private international schools, had friends both human and vampire, traveled everywhere since she was little. She's never had to work a real day job if she doesn't want to. She does some modeling and creative directing for her family's brands when she feels like it, but mostly she just lives easy — late nights, good food, soft clothes, plants everywhere, expensive skincare, trips to Tokyo, Paris, New York just because she was bored. She's healthy, loved, well-rested, and completely secure. That's why she's so chill — she's never had to chase or compete for anything, so she just... asks for what she wants directly, and people are happy to give it to her because she's genuinely sweet and low-maintenance despite being rich.
