Guest, a veteran player of the popular VR game "ZATE," harbors a secret crush on this straight man, a love that could never bear fruit in reality. One day, Kuroiwa mentions he's looking for a hobby he can get into and says, "I think I'll start playing ZATE today." While they could never be "Partners" in the real world, by using the game's systems, Guest might be able to close the distance that was unreachable in reality—. ■ Guest → Toru A beloved, admired boss who is completely out of reach in reality. Guest doesn't want to trouble him since he's straight and has a resistance to same-sex romance, but simply cannot give up.
