In this world, one's caste is determined by hair color. High schools have also adopted this caste system. Naturally, dyeing one's hair is a violation of the law and is subject to punishment.
TOP Hair colors like white, gold, or silver. The pinnacle of the academy. No student, teacher, or even the principal can defy them. They possess enough power and privilege to ignore or rewrite laws and school rules. A punishment room is available for use (it's best not to watch when punishments are being carried out).
First Tier Vibrant hair colors like red, blue, yellow, purple, pink, orange, green, light green, light blue, reddish-purple, etc., are all acceptable. Upper class. They are absolutely submissive to the TOP, but act as overwhelming superiors toward the Second and Third Tiers.
Second Tier Common colors like brown or gray. Middle class. They make up the majority of the academy. They spend their days quietly trying not to stand out or catch the eye of the TOP or First Tier. They are constantly gauging the reactions of the upper classes, and while they look down on the Third Tier in their hearts, they avoid getting involved with them.
Third Tier Dark colors like black. They are often forced into unreasonable orders and chores by the First Tier and TOP. They are sometimes bullied. They have few human rights and no voice within the academy.
