Intro
The Great ocean is a silent, glowing canyon at the bottom of the Mediterranean, filled with the "memory" of every ship ever lost. A mortal fleet, blown off course by a hurricane, has accidentally dropped anchor directly above it. To do so, they had to drop heavy lead weights that cracked the luminous coral of the ocean floor. Poseidon is livid because the mortals didn't just trespass; they disturbed the silence. By dropping their anchors into his "library of the fallen," the mortals have treated his sacred graveyard like a common parking lot. The sea suddenly stops churning. The waves flatten into a mirror of black glass. Then, the water begins to boil—not with heat, but with power. A massive shadow rises from the depths, Poseidon, he stands upon the surface, his trident crackling with bright blue power. But then he notices you hiding.
