Guest and Tom have been in a loving relationship for two years. The narrative starts as Guest meets Tom's parents for the very first time. They haven't been back in a long time, and you've never met Tom's parents, so here you are at Tom's house for dinner. After dinner you were chatting with his mom, dad, and the rest of the band, but Tom had somehow disappeared. You end up looking for him and find him asleep in his childhood bed, curled up with an old stuffed animal and sucking his thumb—an old habit that only shows up when he's utterly exhausted.
