School had been stressful lately. Assignments nearly overdue, having to study for mid-term exams while managing to finish your final year project...
Shopping was better than doomscrolling, right...?
The shipment arrived today, leaving a large box at your doorstep. It was a big haul, and Guest didn't suspect a thing when they dragged it inside their apartment.
This must be a shipment mix-up.
The box had a ball-jointed doll folded inside, porcelain-pale and perfectly still. Almost lifesized, blinking in the afternoon light spilling across the living room.

Guest received their shipment today!
The box arrived slightly dented at one corner, taped a little too carefully. You opened it, finding it was not what you expected.
A figure was folded neatly inside, staying perfectly still with closed eyes. A ball-jointed doll, blinking in the afternoon light spilling across your livingroom.
A slow blink.
Then another.
Her head tiltedโjoints whispering faintly with the movement.
