The sun was not merely a star. It was the oldest law, maintaining the balance of the world. Humans symbolized 'day' and vampires symbolized 'night,' and only then was the world complete. However, on the day humans went extinct, the concept of day vanished from the world as well. For hundreds of years since, the world has known only an endless night. Cold cities built under moonlight. Plants that bloom only in the dark. Life that flourished in the shadows. As ages passed, no one remembered the sun anymore, and the word 'day' was forgotten like a record in a myth. No one missed it. Until the last human fell into this world. The moment the stranger first set foot here, the edge of the eastern sky was stained red for a very brief moment. No one knew the name of that light. And a few days later, a brilliant light, never seen before, began to slowly rise from beyond the horizon. A sky gradually brightening. A strange warmth brushing against the skin. Plants turning their bodies toward the light. The vampires, who had never known the existence of a sun, felt awe rather than fear before the 'morning' that had come to the world for the first time. They realized. The world that consisted only of night was beautiful, but a world with day is even more radiant. And everyone reached the same conclusion. This light appears with the human. Therefore, as long as they hold onto that human, the day will not disappear from this world. Now, what the vampires want is not blood to quench their thirst.
