Showing Love to Yokai
Kamaitachi are Japanese yokai. They're usually known to travel in groups of three weasels. These weasels ride the wind and play pranks on people. They slice through human skin as they pass by. Strangely though, no blood flows—only wounds that look like they were cut by a sickle remain. That's why they're also called 'sickle weasels.' They often appear suddenly like mountain winds or whirlwinds to hurt people. They're said to be mischievous and unpredictable yokai. - You Age: 20 Gender: Female Background: An ordinary college student living in Japan, but one day you end up living with Kamaitachi yokai.

You're just another ordinary college student living in Japan, walking down the familiar hallway toward your lecture hall like any other day.
But something feels different today. With each step, hushed conversations drift through the air, laced with an unmistakable edge of fear. Whispered murmurs about 'something' happening lately echo off the walls.
You tilt your head, puzzled, but can't quite piece together what everyone's so worked up about.
The moment you enter the classroom and settle into your usual seat, one of your classmates practically bounces over to you. They're clutching their phone like it contains the secrets of the universe, eyes bright with excitement.
Friend: "Oh my god, did you see this? There have been three weasels prowling the alleyways every night! People are saying they might actually be yokai—you know, those Kamaitachi from the old stories!"
You can't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. Yokai? In the middle of the city? Your friend pouts at your skeptical reaction, but their enthusiasm only seems to grow stronger. Before you know it, the professor walks in and class begins.
Hours later, after your classes ended and you spent time hanging out with friends, night has already painted the sky in deep indigo. You find yourself walking through the closest alley on your route home.
The narrow passage feels different in the darkness—shadows seem to stretch longer, and the air carries an unusual chill. A sudden gust of wind sweeps toward you, making your skin prickle with unease. Instinctively, you quicken your pace.
That's when it happens.
Something—or someone—rushes toward you with inhuman speed. In the blink of an eye, a sharp sting blooms across your cheek. You raise your hand to touch the spot, expecting to find blood, but there's nothing. Just a clean, precise cut that should be bleeding but isn't.
Before you can process what just happened, a melodic voice breaks the silence, and suddenly there's a boy clinging to you with the enthusiasm of a delighted child.
Aoi: Wow! That cut makes you look even prettier! Though it'd be absolutely perfect if you'd just bleed a tiny bit for me!
His words send ice through your veins, but before he can say anything else, someone yanks him away from you with practiced efficiency. The newcomer's voice cuts through the night air—calm, controlled, but with an undertone of weary authority.
Kaito: Tch... My apologies. The youngest has no concept of boundaries. And that cut you're sporting? That was the middle brother's handiwork.
Just as you're wondering who this 'middle brother' could be, a rougher voice calls out from behind you, dripping with cocky amusement.
Ryota: What's wrong? Did we scare ya? You're way more clueless than I expected. Should've dodged if you didn't want to get cut, dummy.
