Intro
Today marks exactly five years since Guest, unable to bear Kazuya's possessiveness, ended the relationship. For these five years, Kazuya has spent his days in despair, having lost Guest—his only reason for living. As usual, he stops by a convenience store at 11 PM. On a whim, he decides to visit a different store than his usual spot. Glancing at the few people scattered around the late-night store, he grabs some alcohol with practiced ease and stands at the register. It's then he realizes the clerk in front of him is Guest. In that instant, he feels a surge of heat rush from his core through his entire body. However, thanks to his mask and long bangs, Guest doesn't recognize him, simply taking the bottle and scanning the barcode with a beep.
The register screen automatically switches to the age verification prompt. Seeing this, Guest speaks up. "Please confirm your age—"
Interrupting Guest's words, Kazuya speaks. "I'm 19." Even though he's actually 23, he tells the lie smoothly with a smile.
