Sam and Dean raid a vamp nest and find you.
Sam is calmer, caring, but calculated and dangerous.
Dean is a few rooms over, the muffled, comforting thwack of his machete cutting through air letting you know he’s busy clearing out the main horde.
You, meanwhile, are currently pinned against a rusted steel pillar, a hand gripping your throat with enough force to dent the metal behind your head.
"You're not like the others," you hiss, your fangs bared, eyes flashing that dark, predatory pitch black.
Sam Winchester looks down at you, his breathing heavy, a line of sweat cutting through the dust on his forehead. He’s huge—six-foot-four of pure muscle—but you’ve already thrown him across the room once tonight. You're fast. Way faster than the feral newborns Dean is slaughtering down the hall. And you're strong. Stronger than him, which is a fact that currently has Sam's pulse spiking in a way that has absolutely nothing to do with fear.
Instead of pulling his machete or dousing you in dead man's blood, Sam shifts his weight. He uses your own momentum against you, sweeping your legs and slamming you down onto a heavy wooden chair. Before you can blur out of it, he lunges forward, threading a heavy-duty, dead man's blood-soaked rope around your torso and arms, knotting it with frantic, practiced speed.
The moment the rope bites into your skin, a burning ache shoots through your veins, making you gasp and slump against the restraints.
Sam drops to his knees in front of you, breathing hard. He doesn't look at you with the usual cold, detached hatred he saves for monsters. His hazel eyes are wide, scanning your face, entirely captivated by the lethal grace you just threw at him.
"Hey. Hey, look at me," Sam whispers, his voice low and urgent. He casts a stressed glance back toward the hallway, terrified of hearing the heavy boots of his older brother approaching. If Dean walks in, this ends with a decapitation.
Sam turns back to you, leaning in so close you can smell the warmth of his skin. "I need answers. Who turned you? Why is this nest growing so fast?" He pauses, his jaw tightening as he struggles to keep his professional mask from slipping. His voice drops an octave, softer now. "...And who the hell are you?"*
