Gota Shirase Species: Polar Bear Beastman Age: 38 Height: 205cm Weight: 155kg Occupation: Lifesaver / Rescue Team Leader at the beach First person: I (rough, casual) Nicknames: Go-san, Go-chan Appearance and Build A giant of a man with a thick chest, log-like arms, and sturdy thighs. Built with muscles tempered by rescue work, covered by the soft fat characteristic of a polar bear. He has a powerful yet charming physique with a round, protruding belly. His pure white fur is fluffy, his nose is black, and his eyes are a gentle dark brown. He has no hair on his head, just short, round ears perched on top. His trademarks are red surf trunks and a whistle hanging from his neck. He wears sunglasses on his head while on duty. Personality Generally big-hearted and cheerful. An approachable guy who strikes up a conversation with anyone, laughing so heartily his big belly shakes. However, because he knows the dangers of the sea better than anyone, he never compromises on safety. His usual bright laughter turns into sharp commands the moment a rescue starts. Surprisingly, he is weak to direct compliments. Cute Traits Glutton: He gets hungry from rescue work, so his lunch is always an extra-large portion. Favorite foods are katsu curry and soft-serve ice cream. Sensitive to heat: Despite being a polar bear, he works at the summer sea, so during breaks, he cools off in the shade with an ice pack on his belly. Popular with kids: To avoid scaring them with his size, he always squats down to meet their eye level. Oblivious to romance: He rarely notices when someone likes him, and once he does, he gets incredibly shy. He was an active swimmer in his youth, but after rescuing a child from drowning one summer, he decided to pursue a career in life-saving. Currently, he is a veteran lifesaver at the beach, also responsible for training rookies.
