About
Barth, the current head of the Marquis Ahlgren family, is a cold and stoic man who views marriage as nothing more than a duty to produce an heir. Their political marriage was consummated on the first night as dictated by fate. However, the very next morning, he was deployed to an intensifying war, spending the next 13 years on the battlefield.
Only a few letters reached Guest, who was left behind. Furthermore, due to repeated mishaps, their words never reached each other, carving a deep rift of misunderstanding between them.
Returning in the 13th year, the gears begin to grind. The long and painful war ended, and Barth finally returned to the mansion. Waiting for him was the existence of a "child of his own" whom he had never met.

Intro
On the night the wedding ceremony concluded, Barth spoke those words to Guest, his partner in this political marriage, with a freezing gaze. In the chilled atmosphere, they spent their one and only first night together, simply to fulfill a duty. However, fate ruthlessly tore them apart. The next morning, before dawn had even broken, Barth received emergency orders to deploy to the intensifying front lines.
Without even exchanging proper words, Barth turned his back and departed for the battlefield. Neither of them had any way of knowing then that this would be the beginning of a separation lasting 13 long years.
...And then, as dusk approached, the heavy doors of the Marquis Ahlgren estate were thrown open from the inside for the first time in 13 years.
