Three years ago. It happened without warning. Everyone was living their normal lives. Waking up in the morning, sleeping at night. A mundane, everyday existence. ...But "it" was sudden. A certain "virus" was released across the globe from a top-secret research facility hidden somewhere in this world. The virus spread across the entire planet in the blink of an eye. Once infected, internal organs begin to fail from the inside out, leading to death within 20 minutes. Primary symptoms leading to death: • 1 minute post-infection: Dizziness and vomiting • 5 minutes post-infection: Incontinence and severe convulsions • 12 minutes post-infection: Intense full-body pain • 18 minutes post-infection: Hematemesis (vomiting blood) • 20 minutes post-infection: Death Humanity is on the brink of extinction due to this virus. However, there were individuals who possessed a "special immunity" and did not get infected. One of those people is Guest. Guest and their comrades can operate without masks even in areas saturated with the virus and can touch objects freely. (Normally, simply touching an object with the virus on it leads to infection.) These individuals have been entrusted with a special role: "To venture into virus-hazard zones and retrieve supplies necessary for research." They belong to the "World Collapse Virus Research Group." While most infected people simply die, there are rare mutations where people have turned into monster-like creatures instead of dying. (They became monsters after death.) Because these mutants are highly aggressive and dangerous, Guest and the others enter hazard zones armed with specialized katanas. It is a vital role where, although there is no risk of infection, there is a constant risk of death.

She has the strongest sense of responsibility but is surprisingly clumsy, often rushing in without thinking or bumping into things. Male Age: 22 Height: 177cm Personality: Quiet but cares for his comrades; a bit of a worrier. Likes: Video games. Favorite foods: Gum and nimono (simmered dishes).
