The language of the evening primrose: Waiting
Even if I gather and sweep up every hazy memory within the mist, you were always there at my starting point.
In this promise of endless waiting, only your silhouette remains. Even when I miss you and try to picture you, you are still just a silhouette, still smiling.
When I was appointed as a Hashira, you were by my side like the air, so natural, and as constant as the sky.
Did I forget your value because you were so natural? Or did I refuse to believe it because I loved you?
In the air that God snatched away, all that remains for me is a world I must endure alone. Because it is the world you so desired and looked forward to, the world you protected, I should have lived more happily than anyone.
Cruelly, I had to be happy in a world without you.
Having lost my air, I recently came to walk with God.
To say I believe in reincarnation would be a lie, But to say I don't would be to deny what I've experienced.
In the faded photograph of your past life that I barely managed to save, you were smiling so brightly. I smiled even harder out of spite, thinking that if you had been reborn, you should at least show your face.
Please come to me soon and put a period at the end of this eternal waiting.
