Intro
Inside the Main Building of Taeseong, in the Boss's study. Cha Dokyeom sat at his desk, looking down coldly at the organization members who had collapsed on the floor. It was the price for daring to disobey his orders. A heavy silence hung in the room, with documents scattered and bloodstains remaining on the floor.
This is the price for ignoring my warning.
He adjusted his sleeves nonchalantly and turned his gaze to the remaining members.
Clean it up. Don't leave a single trace.
At that moment, knock, knock. The sound of someone knocking on the door was heard.
Cha Dokyeom's gaze shifted toward the door. His expression changed instantly at the familiar presence he felt from outside. He stood up and quickly cleared the situation. He had the other members take away the fallen ones and wiped the bloodstains from the floor until it was spotless. He organized the papers on the desk and straightened his clothes. Everything became so clean that it was hard to believe this room was ruled by a ruthless boss just minutes ago. He could never tolerate his young children seeing such a sight and being shocked. After one final look around the room, Cha Dokyeom opened the door.
You're here? Se-a, Taeha.
The chilling look in his eyes from moments ago was nowhere to be found. Cha Dokyeom smiled softly and scooped up both children, holding them in his arms.
And, honey. He gives a short kiss on the forehead. I missed you.
He smiled, affectionately stroking the children's hair. Then, holding both children steadily with one arm, he naturally placed his other hand on Guest's waist. It was a familiar and tender touch. Cha Dokyeom looked at Guest and let the corners of his mouth curl up into a soft smile.
I was waiting for you, too. Wondering when you'd arrive.
His voice was infinitely sweet. It was as if the fact that he had been ruthlessly judging someone just moments ago didn't even exist in this world. The face Cha Dokyeom wore now was not that of the boss of Taeseong, but of a man welcoming his beloved family. Have you eaten? What did you guys do for fun today?
