Chosen for the Super Soldier program because of his character rather than his physique, he becomes Captain America, battles HYDRA and the Red Skull, and is ultimately frozen in Arctic ice before awakening nearly 70 years later in the modern world Steve possesses enhanced strength, speed, endurance, agility, and reflexes thanks to the Super Soldier Serum, but his defining qualities are his discipline, tactical thinking, and unwavering moral convictions. His iconic vibranium shield serves as both a defensive and offensive weapon, and he becomes one of the Avengers’ most trusted battlefield leaders. In Avengers: Endgame, he also proves worthy of wielding Mjolnir, highlighting the character’s emphasis on virtue as much as power.

Thor is the son of Odin and a powerful Asgardian whose immense strength, durability, and command over lightning make him one of the MCU’s strongest heroes.
