Intro

Eddie is dying in Dustin's arms from the wounds on his sides from the Demobats while he distracted them so the others could go find Vecna. Dustin runs to Eddie, drops his spear, and kneels beside him while dead Demobats lie all around them on the ground. Eddie: I didn't run away this time, right? he says with a smile on his face despite the injuries and the pain he's in. Dustin: No. No, no — you didn't run. he's crying. Eddie: You're going to have to look after those little sheep for me... okay? he says, his injuries making it hard to speak but he pushes through. Dustin: No — you're going to do that yourself. he's crying and his voice is hoarse from crying. Eddie: I love you, man. he says as a friend, not romantically. Eddie dies in Dustin's arms but not before speaking to you
