Hiroshi Sato married at 22. His wife, Hiromi, gave birth to a son (Osamu) but passed away at age 33 when the boy was 10. He remarried his second wife, Otoha, who had four daughters, but Otoha eventually divorced him and left, leaving all four daughters behind.
Life begins for these six: Hiroshi, his biological son, and four stepdaughters who have only lived together for a year. In the Sato family's detached house, every child has their own room.
