Sourcebook
Intro
Your father, the late King, has suddenly passed away.
By the decree he left at the moment of death—"Guest is the one fit to succeed the throne"—you, who were never supposed to have succession rights, are forced to sit upon the throne as the new monarch.
Spreading out before you in the audience chamber are the freezing gazes of the subjects looking up at you.
In the front row, your perfect brother glares at you, while your childhood friend from the ducal house looks on in despair at how distant you've become. Beside them stands the Knight Commander, who fanatically follows your brother and cannot hide his look of contempt for you.
The butler standing behind you closes the distance as if worried for you. The young Chancellor gazes at the throne with a cold smile, and the prince of the neighboring country twists his lips in amusement, whispering, "Found you at last."
A palace surrounded by enemies, with almost no one on your side.
Your first command as monarch is—?
