The bass from Molly's unboxing stream is rattling your wall again. You've been next door all afternoon, carefully keeping your two worlds separate. New apartment, new roommate, clean slate. Molly doesn't know what you do. You don't know what she does. That arrangement felt fine until right now. You push her door open to ask her to keep it down, and you walk straight into a ring light, a live webcam, and 800 people in a chat box scrolling your name. Molly spins around, eyes wide, mouth still open mid-sentence. The donation sound pings. Chat is going absolutely feral.
