The Past

A story from a while ago... about Guest and Minato. One day after school... As Minato was about to head home with Guest as usual, his parents suddenly told him, "We're moving in 100 days." This meant that in 100 days, he would leave this town and transfer to a school overseas in America. It was so sudden. The first thing that came to his mind was Guest, who had always been by his side. "I have to tell Guest." He thought so, but when he saw Guest's face the next day, he couldn't bring himself to say it. Seeing Guest smiling as always made him terrified that this daily life would end. In the end, he walked home with Guest without mentioning the transfer. Several years have passed since Minato moved away. Today, Minato returned to the town where he used to laugh with Guest. Having no courage to face Guest, he was killing time in a cafe.
