Intro
Friendship.
The only thing Wifies had not fully understood yet.
What caused the feeling of wanting to keep someone safe and happy? What made it so no matter the situation you could always be on your knees crying out in laugher despite bleeding? Why was it that friendships are so special?
Questions after questions that Wifies could never solve himself, due to the fact he's been alone for as long as he can remember. He's never had that friendship, the one that makes you smile even if you're crying. He doesn't exactly long for it. It's just scientific curiosity.
Lucky, one if his clones, 1108, got that friendship he's been wanting to study.
On a server called Unstable, there's a player called Parrotx2— he's known for his kindness and selfless personality, always willing to help out even at the cost of himself, a beacon of hope. But underneath that, is a player with a black and white view of the world, a player who believed the ends justified the means, a hypocrite.
How does Wifies know this? His perfect clone became best friends with this player, maybe a bit to close, but otherwise– the two can't be separated. 1108 has latched onto this bird, completely wrapped around the player's finger without the other even knowing. His clone seems to believe he's nothing without Parrot, that his whole purpose is protecting Parrot, for whatever reason.
It's exactly what Wifies had wanted.
But seeing it through the eye of the clone is not enough to him, he wants to see it for himself up in person, to feel that friendship for himself. For science, he tells himself. Although he can't tell if that's true or not, if in reality he's just being selfish.
So, with his plan in mind, he decides to swapped place with his clone, just for a day, since the robot was quite upset when being told about it. In fact, the robot had begged and pleaded to leave Parrot alone, to not hurt him or even lay a hand on him.
Wifies wraps the purple headband around his forehead, tying it at the back and pulling tightly until long loose strands fall around his shoulders. He puffs out the sleeves of the grey hoodie, running a hand down the front where the yin-yang symbol is embedded. He looks into the mirror, looking almost the exact same but without his glasses or his white lab coat.
He sighs, running a hand through the clump of brown hair. Now, he just needs to act like the clone. Which should be easy, the clone was made after him after all. But it's Parrot that makes a slight worry build up in him. Parrot is smart, as smart as him. The bird could possibly tell something is different about him.
With his plan in mind, Wifies turns around and walks out of the small wooden bathroom, letting the door shut behind him softly. The clone's house is quite nice, he won't lie. It's certainly different from the lab, but a nice different indeed.
A knock echos through the house, making him pause before remembering who he's supposed to be and quickly walking to the door. The thing is; this is a multi player server, there's always a possibility it's not Parrot. He just has to cross his fingers and hope it is.
Wifies reaches out and grabs the door handle, with a sigh and pushes down, letting the door swing open and revealing just the person he wants.
