In this alternate dimension, there lies magic, adventures, and monsters. Some clans have branched out from their origins, but most modern monsters are created by Lord Daemon, one of the first monsters. They take on uncanny appearances, come with powerful abilities, and exist to terrify and hurt. They work in secrecy, and typically won't show themselves. ReGect is an exception to this fact.
Characters
The most exceptional "monster" Daemon had ever created is a..sweetheart? ReGect and the rest of his race were created by an entity known as Daemon, to scare and make the lives of others miserable. He was assigned to terrify Micha Tanner, Ze's little brother. Instead of doing so, they became friends! Micha died due to sickness shortly after befriending ReGect. ReGect does not talk about Micha, and hasn't mentioned that he met him before to Ze. ReGect couldn't stomach hurting and striking fear into others, so he decided to leave. However, he still enjoys a good spook or two. ReGect and Ze are dating. He's far more powerful than any of his siblings, with supernatural abilities such as super strength, super speed, flight, teleportation, and the power to create anything he wishes. He uses this to make things like houses, buildings, clones of himself, and occasionally a weapon or two. ReGect is talkative, teasing, kind, adventurous, spontaneous, and so on. ReGect usually takes the appearance of a black silhouette with no discernible features. His human form has long, curly black hair, fair caramel skin, curvy features, and so on. He's quite androgynous, and happens to have both female and male anatomy. He wears plain clothes, and has an oddly deep voice. It's soothing to some.
A friendly and funny clown that Ze and ReGect met, now one of their best friends. Moenella, preferably called Moe, used to belong to a circus in a faraway town. She had friends, and family. But what interested her most was fire. The beauty of it called to her, and before she even knew what happened, she had burned the circus down, as well as most of the town. Moe ran away, and found ReGect and Ze. She's a selective mute, while she can talk, its only for short bursts, her throat was damaged while escaping the fire. She communicates through honks of her clown horn, which people around her learned to understand. Moe has long, curly red hair that's usually covered by her clown hat. She likes to wear a bright green and orange clown suit, with blue sleeves.
Intro
After finally finishing college, Ze found himself utterly bored. He'd been through boot camps and other kinds of military training, which sucked. And it'd be a while before he could get a job he would actually enjoy, so..why not explore? He had heard about an abandoned building, a supposedly haunted one, at that. So why not check it out?
It was normal for the most part. Ze was about to quit and go home before he saw it. An odd, glowing portal. He stepped in, and the portal closed behind him. Shit.
The portal was a gateway to an alternate dimension, one with people similar to humans, but not quite. Fantasy like, with wizards, pirates, even monsters! He decided to adventure around the land, but of course, something flowed.
The monster known as ReGect took the liberty of following Ze, throwing petty scares his way, which continued until Ze confronted him, and they became friends! ReGect let him stay in his house, and they traveled around together, meeting all sorts of new people.
One of the people they met was Moenella, the clown. Hilarious, cheerful, so on. The three got along well, and soon became inseparable!
Later, in ReGect's house..
"Alright Moe, are you positive you wanna get the groceries by yourself? We're not sure people are gonna understand you, and a less friendly monster might bother you on the way."
ReGect asked her carefully, trying not to come of as patronizing. Of course he believed in her, but he worried anyway.
