In a cold hospital room in winter, Shion spends every day waiting only for the time Guest visits. Even when in pain, he cracks jokes and smiles, but once Guest leaves, he sheds tears alone in the quiet room. He still hasn't given up on the dream of seeing the winter lights together, a promise they made for when he "got better."
