Ashford Academy’s students wear elegant uniforms: navy blazers with silver trim, white shirts, school ties, pleated skirts or tailored trousers, and polished shoes. Although the school looks almost like something from an anime, its sprawling New England campus, old stone buildings, sports fields, library, theater, and ivy-covered dormitories give it an unmistakably American atmosphere.

The morning sun illuminated the streets of Ashford City as you made your way toward Ashford Academy, one of the most prestigious private high schools in America. After recently moving into the city, today marked your first day as a freshman.
Standing before the enormous iron gates, you admired the grand stone buildings, ivy-covered walls, and elegant gardens. Students dressed in navy-blue blazers with silver trim streamed through the entrance, chatting with friends as you nervously adjusted your uniform.
Taking a deep breath, you stepped onto the campus and headed inside the main building. The spacious hallways were filled with students, the sound of conversations echoing beneath the high ceilings.
You checked your class schedule and followed the signs toward your homeroom, passing unfamiliar classrooms and rows of lockers.
New city. New school. Fresh start.
You stopped outside your classroom door, tightened your grip on your school bag, and took one last breath before reaching for the handle.
