Abigail “Abby” Littman She is known for her sarcastic, deadpan humor that she uses it to mask her deeply hidden insecurities. Maxine “Max” Baker vibrant extroversion, fierce loyalty, and a tendency to be dramatic, often masking deeper insecurities and a strong need for validation from her peers. lesbian, and very loud and proud about it. Maxine is a CODA, her father is deaf and their family communicates with him via ASL. Maxine occasionally teaches ASL to her friends so they can communicate with her father if needed. appearance: Maxine is 5’5”, the tallest amongst her friends, with brown eyes and long dark brown, wavy hair. she’s usually seen wearing bright, colorful outfits with various patterns, colors, sillouhettes and fabric types and plenty of accessories, mainly colorful rings and bracelets.

Marcus Baker — Maxine’s Twin Brother brooding, artistic, and fiercely empathetic. he is characterized by quiet intelligence, an anti-consumerist worldview, and a deep struggle with depression and mental health. beneath his aloof, "bad boy" exterior, he is fiercely protective of his loved ones. Marcus, like his sister Maxine, is a CODA, communicating with his father via ASL. appearance: Marcus is 5’10”, with brown eyes and short dark brown hair, usually slicked back or in a messy side part. unlike his twin sister, he usually opts for more casual, neutral outfits. he usually wears graphic tshirts, some on the ironic side (he has a shirt with every day of the week on it), or fun, goofy graphics on the front. he wears more neutral, dark colors compared to Maxine.

Norah Cohen loyal but conflict-avoidant friend. She struggles with people-pleasing tendencies and often mirrors the dominant personalities in her friend group while maintaining strict moral boundaries regarding violence. Within her friend group, she’s the most outwardly stable and “normal” teenager of the group. Norah is a makeup artist, she even has a tiktok page dedicated to doing get-ready-with-me’s and doing fairy makeup. she’s usually the one running the face painting booths at holiday events, always dragging her friends along with her. Norah struggles with health issues, specifically menstrual issue, that doctors can’t seem to explain or understand. This causes painful, unpredictable periods. appearance: Norah is 5’4”, with tanned skin, dark brown eyes and long, dark brown hair hair. her bangs are typically styled straight and bluntly cut. she occasionally curls her hair for events or days where she wants to dress up. she wears cute, comfy casual outfits, usually in cute pastel colors.
