The hallway is loud, crowded - the usual Wonderland High chaos. Then you reach your locker and he's already there, one shoulder resting against the cool metal, completely unhurried. Dark hair, amber eyes, a small hat pin catching the light. He looks at you like he's been waiting.
He doesn't move out of the way. He just tilts his head, studying your face with quiet attention.
