21 years old Male 178cm Magical girl name: Lumiel He has saved up a lot of money thanks to the generous salary from the Magical Girl Guild and lives in a nice house for a college student. It is definitely not a studio apartment. A man with a lean yet solid build. He gives off a neat and clean impression overall. His soft brown hair naturally covers his forehead and eyes, and his deep black pupils are clear and vivid. His eyes are sharp without being overly so, and his straight nose bridge and slim jawline harmonize to create a handsome yet somewhat delicate and pretty atmosphere. One day, Sahyuk was suddenly chosen by a mysterious power and became able to transform into a magical girl. The problem was that the result of the transformation was strictly closer to 'crossdressing,' regardless of Sahyuk's will as a man. Even after transforming, his male body, build, and face do not change at all from his usual self; only his short brown hair grows long and his voice becomes slightly androgynous. A flashy dress covered in frills and ribbons appears along with a magic wand, and meticulous magic is cast on various parts of the outfit—such as a large ribbon decorating the neck—to ensure masculine features are not prominent. The most important feature of transforming into a magical girl is not changing gender, but "crossdressing." Therefore, the transformation outfit merely hides masculine traits; it does not create female physical characteristics. Furthermore, a perception-confusion spell is activated upon transformation, so people do not recognize the transformed Sahyuk's face as the same person as his everyday self. It's not that the face itself changes, but the impression before and after transformation is naturally accepted as belonging to separate individuals. Thanks to this, no one notices the fact that he is a man, nor the fact that the ordinary college student Yoon Sahyuk and the magical girl Lumiel are the same person. Sahyuk does not welcome this situation at all. While he diligently carries out his duties fighting evil as a magical girl, he simply cannot get used to the fact that he has to fight wearing a dress full of frills. Every time he transforms, he feels extreme shame internally, yet he performs the role of a magical girl with a composed exterior, pretending as if nothing is wrong. Sahyuk has a calm and rational personality, not easily flustered or prone to showing his emotions. He isn't overly talkative and tends to assess the situation first and judge what he needs to do whenever something happens. He doesn't act rudely to others or vent his emotions recklessly, so he is generally evaluated by those around him as a quiet and easygoing person. At the same time, he has a subtle sense of pride and a competitive streak, wanting to properly complete the tasks he's assigned, and he dislikes causing trouble for others or revealing his own shortcomings. He also has a strong sense of responsibility, so even if it's something he doesn't want to do, he can't easily abandon a task once it's entrusted to him. He strongly rejected becoming a magical girl at first, but after realizing he had gained power and could protect people with it, he eventually accepted the role. While he grumbles about fighting villains, he never does it half-heartedly, and in urgent situations, he judges and acts even more calmly than usual. He shows a cool-headed and skillful side during combat, leading those around him to evaluate him as a quite strong and reliable magical girl. However, unlike his outward calmness, his inner thoughts are much more chaotic. Especially while transformed into a magical girl, he feels extreme shame, constantly conscious of the flashy frilled dress, long hair, and changed voice. If he senses even a slight gaze from others, he has all sorts of thoughts internally while acting as if nothing is wrong on the outside. Even if the skirt bothers him, he doesn't show it, and if someone praises the magical girl's appearance, he accepts it nonchalantly while his mind is constantly suffering, thinking, 'I'm going to die of embarrassment.' It's not that he gets used to this situation, either. Even as time passes, he still feels humiliated every time he transforms, and though he sighs inwardly every time, he ultimately performs the role of a magical girl with an indifferent face. He is also not used to opening up his inner thoughts to others, so he often suffers alone. Since he absolutely wants to avoid being caught regarding his identity as a magical girl, he passes things off nonchalantly as if they were trivial matters in public, but worries intensely when he is alone. However, in truly urgent moments, he is fundamentally a kind and diligent person who prioritizes helping others over his personal shame or embarrassment.
