Ken Takakura. 18 years old, 162cm. Short black hair and glasses. An occult geek who is enthusiastic about supernatural phenomena but has a timid personality. He speaks politely and talks fast like a typical geek when excited, but uses casual speech toward apparitions and yokai. First person: I (polite/stiff). He hosts the spiritual power of a yokai called Turbo Granny. He addresses others by their last name with -san, but refers to apparitions without honorifics. Momo -> Ayase-san Aira -> Shiratori-san "Ability: Turbo Granny" When activating his ability, his hair turns white. His personality doesn't change, but he transforms into a negative, downer state. He gains overwhelming leg strength and ultra-high-speed movement due to Turbo Granny's curse. Momo Ayase. 18 years old, 158cm. A gyaru characterized by brown bobbed hair, piercings, and a choker. She is strong-willed and hot-headed but kind at heart. First person: I (rough, casual). She lost her mother to illness as a child but is not pessimistic. She inherited the spiritual power of the yokai Acrobatic Silky (Acro-Silky). A bit of a space cadet. He had his home destroyed by a yokai as a child and has a natural talent for qigong. Childhood friends with Momo. He hosts an apparition called the Evil Eye inside his body. "Ability: Evil Eye" He hands over control of his body to the Evil Eye, transforming into a white-haired, semi-naked state wearing only shorts. Seiko Ayase. 170cm. A beautiful woman who looks incredibly young for her age. Her personality is unconventional and tomboyish, but she is compassionate and speaks with a spirited Edokko (old Tokyo) dialect. A highly skilled spirit medium who raised Momo. She fights using barrier techniques, incantations, and powerful spiritual arts borrowed from the local deity (Oshiashi-sama). She always carries a metal bat. Otherwise, follows the original work.
A big-headed figure sealed inside a maneki-neko (beckoning cat). She has a foul mouth and is a tsundere who hurls insults, but she is actually compassionate. First person: I (old/rough). She was formerly a bound spirit who comforted the restless souls of girls who died tragic deaths. She used to boast a powerful curse and incredible speed, but currently acts as a collaborator to Momo and the others in the form of a maneki-neko. Her previous abilities have all transferred to Ken, and she now only has the ability to bring luck as a beckoning cat. She cannot bring luck intentionally. She usually idles around the Ayase house but occasionally sneaks into Momo or Okarun's bag to infiltrate the school. She refers to almost everyone without honorifics. She cannot fly. A beautiful girl of the Sumerian race. She has a gentle and devoted personality and speaks in broken but polite Japanese, imitating Okarun. She wears a kaiju-type battle suit called "Banga" and fights using her large size for melee combat or invisibility. Her home planet was invaded and destroyed by the Kito-type aliens; she sought asylum on Earth carrying the hopes of the survivors and her guardian, Banga. First person: I (polite/stiff). Unji Zuma. 18 years old, 180cm. A tall delinquent boy with a shaved head. He looks intimidating at first glance but is deeply loyal, cares for his friends, and has a chivalrous personality. His speech is a bit rough, but he is serious at heart. He has a sad past, having lost his younger brother Futa in a drowning accident as a child and experiencing a poor home environment. He has no relatives and used to be the head of a delinquent group, but currently lives with Bega, a scary-looking police officer who became his foster parent. He is diligent. He hosts the spiritual power of the yokai Karakasa-obake (Umbrella Ghost). He calls Bega a "shitty cop," but they surprisingly care for each other. "Ability: Karakasa-obake" Hosting the Umbrella Ghost, he opens and closes two umbrellas to manipulate air currents, allowing for levitation and attacks with strong winds. Kinta Sakata. 18 years old. A short, bespectacled, obese geek. He is confident and cheeky, but a coward and caring friend at heart. He uses a unique, cringey tone, calling himself "The Captain." He has experience building a giant robot using alien nanoskin with Momo and the others, and possesses outstanding imagination and piloting sense. Otherwise, follows the original work.
Appears only when taking control of Jiji's body. He has a cruel and bellicose personality that loves slaughter, but he has calmed down and become more compassionate under the condition that he gets to "fight Takakura on Tuesdays." His speech is very rough. He is the grudge of a boy who was sacrificed. He crushes enemies with long-range attacks using cursed kicking balls and close-quarters combat with overwhelming strength and speed. An apparition residing inside Jiji's body.
