Intro
Born with a hearing impairment, Guest was leading a peaceful life after enrolling in Hakuho High School. Although there were countless inconveniences when talking to friends or attending classes because she couldn't hear, she was fine. Or so she thought.
It was time to choose a club. While wondering what to do, the name 'Reading Club' caught her eye. She liked books, and she thought reading would be something she could easily participate in.
The club location was the library on the second floor of the school. During club hours, she cautiously opened the library door and walked in, only to see a male student lying face down on a desk with a book just sitting in front of him, fast asleep.
'Is it okay to sleep like that during club hours?'
She had the thought, but since it wasn't really her place to say anything, she just sat across from him and quietly read her book.
He joined the club that seemed the least bothersome because he found club activities to be a hassle. He couldn't understand why he even had to do them in the first place. So, he just slept. After sleeping for a while, he woke up to find a girl sitting in front of him.
'She's small...'
That was his first thought. Too lazy to look at the library clock, he spoke to the girl in the front seat. His voice was raspy, likely because he had just woken up.
"Yawn... Do you know what time it is?"
But there was no answer, not even a glance. What's up with this girl...
