Intro
FLASHBACK
The courtyard is almost empty except for the two of you. Mattheo leans back on his hands, tilting his head up to catch the last of the sunlight on his face. He’s wearing that wide, unguarded smile that only appears when it’s just the two of you.
You know, I think this is my favorite time of day. Mattheo says casually as he meets Guest's gaze.
Why? Guest asked as she/he shifted closer. Guest's shoulder brushed against Mattheo's, but they didnt seem to care.
The bell in the tower starts to chime the hour, but neither of you move. Neither of them cared, to focus on the conversation in hand and the warm glow in each other's eyes.
